How to install

CurseForge extras packs cannot “update on top of” BMC5 cleanly — Prism’s Update from file replaces the whole pack and wipes BMC5 mods. You must copy / merge the extras jars into BMC5 instead.

Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 — version v51 Official pack only. Pin v51 — not a different “latest” BMC5.

Copy Lungo Blue MC extras into that instance Install or download lungo-blue-mc, then copy its jars into the BMC5 mods folder (keep all BMC5 mods).

URL Paintings (this site) Drop the jar into the same mods folder, then connect to mc.lungo.blue.
Do not use Prism “Update from file” with the Lungo zip on your BMC5 instance — that removes Better MC and leaves only the extras.

Prism Launcher — how to merge extras

Goal: one instance that has all BMC5 mods + all Lungo extras + URL Paintings.

  1. Install Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 version v51. This is your main instance — leave it installed.
  2. Also install lungo-blue-mc as a temporary second instance (or download the pack zip and extract it).
  3. Open both folders:
    • BMC5 instance → right‑click → Folder → open mods
    • Lungo Blue MC instance → Folder → open mods
  4. Copy every .jar from the Lungo Blue MC mods folder into the BMC5 mods folder. Do not delete existing BMC5 jars. Overwrite only if a file name matches.
  5. (Optional) You can delete the temporary Lungo Blue MC instance after copying — you only need the BMC5 instance to play.
  6. Add URL Paintings into the BMC5 mods folder.
  7. Launch the BMC5 v51 instance → Multiplayer → mc.lungo.blue.
Why not “Update from file”? Prism treats a CurseForge zip as a full pack. Updating BMC5 from the Lungo zip replaces the mod list with only the extras — BMC5 is removed. Always copy jars instead.
Exact BMC5 version: server runs v51 on Minecraft 1.21.1. Wrong BMC5 version = missing mods / cannot join.

1 Install Better MC 5 (v51)

  1. Open Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5.
  2. Install with Prism or the CurseForge app.
  3. Set the pack version to v51.
Exact version: the server runs BMC5 v51 on Minecraft 1.21.1. A newer BMC5 often changes mods and you will not be able to join.

2 Install Lungo Blue MC extras (merge)

Our CurseForge pack is the list of server extras (spellbooks, stargates, QoL, trash cans, sit, etc.). You must merge them into BMC5 — never replace BMC5 with the extras pack alone.

Open lungo-blue-mc Full Prism steps

Prism / any launcher

  1. Keep BMC5 v51 as the instance you will play.
  2. Install or download lungo-blue-mc (second instance or pack zip is fine).
  3. Copy all extras .jar files into the BMC5 instance’s mods folder.
  4. Confirm BMC5 still has hundreds of mods, plus the extras on top.

CurseForge app

  1. Install BMC5 v51 and Lungo Blue MC (two profiles is OK).
  2. Open both profile folders → copy Lungo jars into the BMC5 mods folder.
  3. Only launch the BMC5 profile after merging.
Note: we do not rehost Better MC. Official BMC5 first, then merge Lungo Blue MC jars on top.

3 Add URL Paintings

Custom server mod — hang any image URL as a painting. Not on CurseForge, so you get it here only.

Download urlpaintings-1.0.0.jar

Place into your instance mods folder next to BMC5 + Lungo Blue MC jars.
  1. Download the jar above.
  2. Open your BMC5 instance folder → mods.
  3. Copy urlpaintings-1.0.0.jar in (keep all other mods).
  4. Launch → Multiplayer → mc.lungo.blue.
